And these are just the grand prizes.

The Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre We’ve Got Talent! variety show is bigger and better than ever this year. We have installed a new sound system that lends itself to all kinds of music now, including large group bands, rap, polka, country, you name it! We increased the prize money! We’ve added lots of special category prizes for winners of all talent groups! We’ve added a 50/50 raffle that will produce a big cash prize every night!

Now, all we need is you!

Please get the word out to your students, friends, and colleagues about this great opportunity. This year the We’ve Got Talent! show will be held March 5-10, 2012. Auditions and shows are held at the Gilbert and Jaylee Mead Auditorium in Wisconsin Rapids. This beautiful little gem of a theatre holds 250 people and is the perfect venue for talent both young and old—no matter how experienced.

March 10 Finals

Each act will be auditioned and coached by professional staff members. Lighting, sound, and best placement of your act on the stage will be addressed during your audition. You will need to be at one of the audition nights, the semi-finals if you qualify, and then the finals.

Prizes will be awarded per act, not per individual. There is a strict limit of 3 minutes for each talent. Animal acts are not eligible. All participants will be required to sign a medical release form.

I personally have been judging talent shows for over 20 years throughout the state of Wisconsin and have never been more impressed with the talent pool than here in Central Wisconsin. We look forward to having many new acts and welcome return favorites as well. Let’s make this the best year ever, because Central Wisconsin definitely has talent!
