WRCT offers two separate opportunities to get involved with theatre over the summer. \
Our main focus is to let confidence and talent shine by teaching theatre fundamentals and skills with fun and interesting activities, then put that knowledge to use during the production & performance process.

6 week Production

  • Ages 8-12 (entering grades 3rd-7th) from 9:30am-12:00pm  Emphasizing: Ensemble Games and Activities, Characterization, Stage movement, Full Mainstage performance

  • Ages 13-18 (entering grades 8th-12th) from 1:00pm-3:30pm   Emphasizing: Improv, Audition Technique, Character Development, Full backstage/tech roles, Full Mainstage performance

  • HOPO is a fast-paced, demanding schedule with auditions, rehearsals, & performances all in two weeks time, but it always comes together! It’s a perfect way to get familiar with theatre by putting on a great show in a short time frame.

Summer program dates are traditionally announced at the end of March of that year.

Encourage your children to participate in the arts—
it's a gift they'll enjoy their entire lives!

There are many ways for kids to get involved with live theatre!  WRCT runs multiple programs for students of all skill levels.
