ABOUT THE PLAY:

The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in this fast-paced, rollicking ride as two narrators and several actors attempt to combine all 209 stories ranging from classics like Snow White, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel to more bizarre, obscure stories like The Devil's Grandmother and The Girl Without Hands. A wild, free-form comedy with lots of audience participation and madcap fun.

*What is HOPO?

HOPO Productions gets it's name from it's two founders; Stephanie Hoerth and Gretchen Powers. They created HOPO to add an additional youth production, to be rehearsed and performed after the WRCT Youth Production.

It is important to note pre-casting is prohibited for our mainstage productions. As a community theatre, we believe in having as many participants onstage as is possible and may dissuade double casting when applicable.
